Eoly is part of the Colruyt Group. They help reduce the CO2 footprint of the group by producing their own power via wind turbines and other methods.
On company ground of Colruyt Group they chose to build very close to the facilities so the power can be used immediately. They use green power to charge forklifts, cooling refrigerated rooms and lighting offices.
They have 14 wind turbines (nov 2017) that they exploit and manage, spread over Flanders and Wallonia. Eoly produces about 71.945 megawatt hours per year. That’s the equivalent of the yearly consumption of about 20.555 families. For Colruyt Group this realises a reduction in CO2 of 18.471 tons.
