Immersive websites that turn interest into action
Bring your brand, people or destination to life through interactive storytelling. Poppr creates immersive websites with purposeful design, rich media and clear paths to enquiries, applications and bookings.
Turn your story into an experience people can explore
Your organisation has a story worth understanding. An immersive website gives visitors a way to explore it through film, photography, sound and interaction. They choose a route, discover what matters to them and find a clear next step.
Poppr designs and builds these experiences for brands, employers, cultural organisations and destinations. Whether the goal is an enquiry, an application or a better understanding of your organisation, we shape the content and navigation around that decision.
Interactive storytelling, built for the browser
An immersive website combines a clear narrative with interaction. Scrollytelling can reveal a story as visitors move through a page. An interactive documentary lets them choose themes or people to follow. A virtual visit opens up places they cannot easily reach.
We select the formats that serve the story: video, interviews, sound, photography and, where useful, 360° scenes. Visitors access the experience through a web link on desktop, tablet or smartphone, without installing an app.
Design and delivery work together. We plan navigation, readable content and media loading for the intended devices and connections. Where we use our 20K panoramic photography, we deliver image tiles at different resolutions to suit the view.
Recruitment, brand experiences and cultural stories
- Recruitment: show candidates the people, workplaces and opportunities behind a job. Our interactive documentary for BASF introduces the organisation through stories they can explore.
- Brand engagement: help visitors discover a brand through participation. The Opti Life experience for Versele-Laga uses interaction and quizzes to involve its audience.
- Culture and heritage: connect places, archives and personal stories. The St. Rumbold’s Tower project brings 500 years of history into an immersive website.
If exploring a physical location is the main goal, a virtual tour may be the right starting point. We help you choose the format that fits.
From a clear brief to a considered launch
We start with your audience, the action you want to encourage and the content already available. We then define the story, structure, visual direction and production scope before building the experience.
Our founders began working together through aerial photography in 2006. That production heritage informs how we combine images, design and development today. The Avoriaz virtual visit, credited to Poppr and Akaru, received an Awwwards Honorable Mention in 2020.
Before launch, we check content, navigation and behaviour on the agreed devices and browsers. Hosting, editable content, maintenance and integrations are defined in the project scope, so your team knows how the experience will be managed.
Measure engagement and the steps that matter
We agree the measurement plan with you: which stories visitors open, how far they progress, which videos they play and which calls to action they use. Where appropriate, we connect this to your analytics setup through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
For 360° scenes, custom Poppr heatmaps can add viewing direction, viewing time and zoom behaviour. These interaction signals help identify what attracts attention. Completed bookings, applications or CRM outcomes require suitable access and integration; they are not automatically captured by every experience.
Bring us your audience, your objective and the story you want to tell. Together, we can define the content, functionality and measurement your project needs.
